Iman Pasha is a fashion consultant based between Dubai, London and Karachi

Iman Pasha is a fashion consultant based between Dubai, London and Karachi, so she knows a thing or two about mixing it up. Iman’s style is eclectic and edgy with a play on trends –and she is all about having fun with her look.

For drinks at the Jetty in Dubai or dinner at La Petit Maison in London, she wears cool Brit designers Richard Nicoll, Erdem and Mary Katrantzou. She hates black, and a favourite is a tan belted David Koma dress she wore to a recent launch at Boutique 1 in Dubai. Iman isn’t afraid to go more mainstream, and recently wore a thigh-skimming leopard print Dolce and Gabbana dress to a friend’s wedding after-party at Buddha Bar Dubai.

‘I realize that my job allows me to dress more creatively than my friends in other fields, so I spend time coming up with unique looks, mixing high end with high street.’ Walking her dogs down London’s Fulham Road, she is usually in Vince cashmere cardigan and Philip Lim 3.1 trousers, with a Top Shop blouse. For lunch meetings with clients on Walton Street or fashion week shows, she steps it up a notch, throwing on a Carven blouse or dress, YSL platforms and a Celine’s canvas and leather mini shopper.

As Pakistan’s fashion industry grows, she has seen increasing acceptance and need for her role as stylist, ‘Pakistan has become very fashion forward in the past decade and I enjoy seeing the eclectic style of our locals. I like Élan for weddings.’by Suhair Khan
